 Tourist Police in Ao Nang
The Tourist Police works closely together with the TAT (Thailand Tourist Authority), and was set up for the needs of tourists. They can be reached countrywide under the number 1155, in Bangkok however, you must dial 1699.
The tourist police in Ao Nang is located directly behind the diversion to the Pakasai or Ao Nang Village Hotel or just a hunderd meters behind the main entrance to the Krabi Resort, on the other side of the road. The police box of the "normal" Thai Police is located exactly at the other end of the beach, just above the Phra Nang Inn Hotels.
