Rescue Exercise in Ao Nang |

 A rescue training took place these days in the National Park area at Nopparatara Beach. Participants were probably all Thais who are involved in the Krabi Rescue Team. There were several stations set up and at each station a particular exercise had to be carried out. The individual exercises included dealing with oxygen breathing equipment, fixing the neck of a victim and putting them on a carrier in the right way. The days seems to be gone, were victims were taken on arms and legs and being thrown on a pickup truck.. That was common practice not so long ago. However, even the rescue cars now look well equipped and nicely setup. Thailand on it’s way to civilization…
