 Featuring Ernie Halter- Los Angeles Singer/Songwriter who is currently on tour promoting his new CD "Congress Hotel".
Ernie came to Ao Nang in 2003 and stopped by the Encore Cafe where he watched Georgia the famous blues singer from Bangkok sing with the Encore Band. He kept in touch with me and after the tsunami said he would do something to help the children. So he has taken time from his current tour and volunteered to pay his way and play for free to raise money for the Sriphong Phukaoluan Foundation [who sponsor children orphaned by the disaster.
Ernie plays folk acoustic guitar and sings and his music has a soul/bluesy tinge, sometimes described as a mix of Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and....Ernie. Ernie has had appearances on David Letterman, the Tonight Show, Good Morning America and more, and now .....Encore Cafe!"
