 This morning, 26, June, 2007, at around 6.00 am a fire broke out in the well known Phra Nang Inn Hotel in Ao Nang. The flames destroyed the complete main building including reception and the entrance area. The hotel itself was closed due to renovation and nobody was hurt in the incident. The fire-brigade arrived with five cars from Ao Nang, Klong Muang, Chong Plee and Krabi. It took about 4 hours to estingush the fire. The main Road in Ao Nang was closed during that time. At about 10:30 the hotel safe was saved under police supervision.
